Didn't get exactly what I was hoping for but thought you might enjoy seeing pictures of the batch I made yesterday. I put about one Tbs. powdered sugar in the "icing" thinking it might make it whiter, but that didn't work. The sugar didn't seem to hurt the soap any. Has anyone else tried this?

Here also is a picture of one of my candles. It is Chocolate Covered Cherry.

OOOOHHH those are just lovely and you've displayed them so
nicely too.

Looks great, Jean. The powdered sugar will simply add bubbles, and that is a good thing. If you want a whiter sop for "icing" next time, get some titanum dioxide. I use it since I make exclusively GM soap when I want a whiter bar. It is used extensively in the B & B area, and even in foods.
