Newbie shopping list

I've just started to get into this whole soap making thing and I wanted to get some advice from the experts as to what supplies/ingerdients/fragrances/etc. I should buy. What products do you swear by? Which brands are the best? What can't i live without?

As far as fragrances or essential oils, it depends on your demographic area.
Are you planning on making cold process soaps?
