Newbie looking for best reference book.

Hi. I'm new to the forum, and I am wondering if anyone could recommend to me the best book for beginners. I have looked on Amazon and there are so many I can't decide. If this is in the FAQ, please point me there. Thanks in advance.

I agree with Tabitha....wonderful site.

If you want a really good paper reference, I would suggest "The Everything Soapmaking Book" by Alicia Grosso. It covers cold process, hot process, melt & pour, handmilling/rebatching, soap gems and geodes, how to market your soap....pretty much everything.

Alicia is a member on another forum I belong to and is a lovely person and very highly regarded. You won't go wrong having her reference on your bookshelf.
