I have recently started making soap. I make the soap and my 9 year old daughter helps me design and choose colors and scents. She is the "Soap Chef". We just finished the CP soaps we will give as Christmas gifts. We have made soaps with water so far but we are getting 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats so in the future we would like to try goat milk soap.
It is a fun hobby for us. I am a teacher so I am off during the summer so we have the thought of setting up at some summer farmers' markets as a way for Kaylee to learn about entrepreneurship. I am researching the regulations now as far as needing a tax id or insurance.
I also have a bachelor's degree in chemistry so the chemical reactions and recipe making portion is very enjoyable to me.
