Hey you guys! My name is Kelsey, I have been making soap (melt & pour and a couple good cold process batches) for about 6 months now. Im about to start experimenting with bath bombs and wanted some advice about a recipe I wanted to try. Ingredients I wanted to use would be citric acid, baking soda, kaolin clay powder, Epsom and/or dead sea salts, and maybe SLSA along with sweet almond and/or castor oils, witch hazel, and dye powder from Nurture Soap. A couple questions I had were:

1. What percent/ benefit would SLSA give the bombs?
2. How do you most effectively bloom the dye?
3. Would the salts affect how the bath bomb stays together?

Thank you!

SLSA makes a foaming bath bomb
I use cocoa butter in my bath bombs, no Epsom salt or other salt. If you use melted cocoa butter. you won't need any other liquid, except colorant and FO or EO. I also use Cream of Tartar in my bath bombs.
