Need packaging design help!

Up until now, I have been creating my own labels using Word and Avery. I'm not a professional graphic design artist so my labels have a "homemade" feel to them. I am looking to take my soaps to the next level, that said I need to know where to go for professional or semi-professional labeling/branding design.

Have you tried googling graphic design services? There might well be a company local to you who can help out.

I'd also consider asking local high schools and colleges if their best students would like some semi-professional work. Here's a link for requesting work from MICA, a college of art near us in MD that usually ranks in top 10 for art.

I use Maestro Label designer. It allows a bit more option wise with design elements and has really help me develop my labels to where I want them.
