Hey All you soapers!!! WSP has a special on Natural Shea Butter!
3# for $16.95 plus $11.51 shipping to me in Virginia

6# for $33.90plus $12.08 shipping to me in Virginia
I ordered the 6# and it works out to $7.66/lb
expiration date of the Shea Butter is January 2009.
They have a limited supply so get busy!!

I just received my order today- it looks... weird? Well, that's not fair to say as I've never seen shea butter before! ;) I'm quite excited to play with it. It isn't the consistency I was expecting, but it doesn't have any odor either, so I guess that's good?

I ordered their "Raw Shea Butter", they are cheaper.

I paid 3 lbs for $12.

Shipping is $6.95 for order up to $25.

Does the raw shea smell come through the soaps? Has anyone used this in other products or is the scent too strong?

Thanks!

The smell is not strong even out of the container. After I soap it, I barely can smell it, but I use FO and EO.

Hope it helps

I have used raw shea before, I used it in whipped body butter, I thought I could smell something, but no one else said anything about it. Guess it depends on how sensitive your sniffer is. :?

I am so use to using ultra refined shea that I really don't like the smell of raw... It's not a bad smell at all, but some FOs have a harder time covering it then others...
