My Soap turns Brown

I've been making CP soap for years now but recently I've noticed during the drying phase it goes from a beautiful creamy colour to a yucky brownish colour. I've read that it could be the vanilla that's in the essential oils is that possible??

Yes vanila content will cause the soap to go brown. The more vanilla the more brown

I have several soaps in shades of brown testing new fragrances. Apparently I like vanilla....a lot
