I read log splitter and immediately thought of firewood. Becasue it's that time of year and as I drive around I find myself coveting people's stacks of firewood and wishing I had a log splitter!

Tell him to go for it - he'll never regret it! We found a like-new used unit for a good price and it's paid for itself many times over. Hubby put an old office chair seat on a couple of cinder blocks and uses the splitter vertically. We knocked out 2.5 years' worth of firewood this past Spring
. Firewood and toilet paper - two things that I like to have in good stock, lol.
