I was way overdue for a mirror image hanger swirl soap and I’m so happy to finally have one. It looks more like a moth than a butterfly, which is fine because I like moths (except for the ones that eat sweaters and get in the pantry). Or, maybe a hawk with talons? I used 20% of the batter for the green French clay color and prettied up the top using crushed bay leaves, lichen and seeds after seeing TAS’s pretty soap with seed topping last week. The other soap is from a batch I made to test a facial bar recipe. Both soaps are made with Calendula infused OO. After all of my intense sessions learning how to make layers in landscape soap (I was getting a bit OCD...), producing these simple soaps was pure fun and very satisfying :)
