SOAP JUNES 1ST COLD PROCESS.jpg
They are certainly not pretty, but they are soap and they smell lovely! This soap has 53% soft oils to insure a slow tracing time; but after 48 hrs covered with 2 heavy towels, they still seemed soft when I tried to um-mold them.. You can see how badly I mangled the one on the far right forcing it out of the mold. Under the firm top, the sides and bottom were like silly putty. Another member suggested putting the mold in the freezer which I did, for 45 minutes, which is why the rest look a lot better than the poor tortured one on the right!

They are soap! And you made them! Once you use the mangled one in the shower a few times you won't even notice :) Glad the freezer worked for you. I have my molds in the freezer as we speak...I hate waiting!

I think they look fine. Great job on your first CP. I have no scientific data to back me up, but I'm pretty sure none of us made a perfect soap on our first batch. Grats.

They look great! Your soaps look like they may have been made in the oval silicone mold from Brambleberry. That mold is very thick, and for me they took forever before I felt I could get them out. Glad the freezer worked for you.
