I know there was a thread about mustard oil, but it's a little old. So, I was wondering if anyone has ever made soap using ground mustard, mustard seeds, or mustard oil? I've researched a good amount and have come up with some amounts to use, but I'm curious about its reaction with the heat and the lye as well. It looks like mustard's warming qualities (read: benefits) are reduced, if not destroyed, when heated. I think that as long as the temperature is under 100 degrees, the properties should remain intact so I'm probably going to keep my temperatures low and/or add at trace.

I would appreciate any input or knowledge...thanks! :)

Thanks, IrishLass! I found the second and third threads, but missed that first one. That provides a little bit more to what I've already found.
I appreciate it! :)
