Most economical EO?

I'm attempting to push the bounds of frugality for my first batch of soap. I get tallow for free and lye is $3 a pound at my hardware store. I could leave this batch unscented but I'd like to add "something".

What's the cheapest EO or FO I can add to this batch?

The cheapest EO's are citrus oils and some of the basic herbs like sage, rosemary, spearmint, etc.

Lemon grass, eucalyptus, cedar.
I'm very price conscious, but I do prefer a more expensive FO where a little goes a long way over something cheaper that fades or morphs.

Depends on where you live. Tea tree and eucalyptus are very cheap in Oz
