mooncake/cookie stamp hand press?

Has anyone used a mooncake hand press? Also called cookie stamps. They are advertised for bath bombs and 'soap' and have really pretty patterns, but I haven't seen any soap actually made like this. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried it. I think they would definitely work with soap clay, but I'm hoping they work with re-batch or hot process to make a much smoother look. So far my hot process soaping has turned out really well functionally (Castile soap in 2 days!!) but with lots of air pockets. Here's pictures of what I'm talking about
