Moon Rainbow?

My phone didn't do it justice, but I saw a moon rainbow or halo last night. Very cool.

I've heard that one before, but with the sun. If there's a ring around the sun, it usually means rain.

Yeah, just my phone. Wouldn't focus because it couldn't read enough light. Even infinite focus would have been better, but there's no manual option on the phone. It was much more visible to the naked eye.

It would have hurt my eyes to look at the moon. But seeing it in a pic is always cool.

I saw the rainbow halo around the moon Thursday night last week. Right before all the rain started.

Oooooooo.....love it! Was there a "super moon" last night, because around here it was SO bright, and big and beautiful. But I didn't see a moon bow. You were lucky to catch it.
