Hello everyone! I have raw cocoa butter I believe I used it maybe twice and this is my third time using at on Cp soap. This time around I noticed that they are white bubbly spots all on top of it, that looks like mold. It doesn't smell Rancid. It's stored on a shelf in my room, which isn't hot at all. Can anybody help me. Do raw Cocoa butter mold? or is it something different.? Thank you for your help!

I've never heard of cocoa butter going moldy but that certainly looks like mold! I wonder if it is an inferior product. Did you get it from a trusted vendor? Maybe you can contact the company you bought it from and see if they can offer you any help.

I wonder if they mixed something in it. Usualy mold is fuzzy. Yeast or bacteria would/ could have bubbles forming.
Coming from someone who makes cheese also.

It looks more to me like harmless cocoa fat bloom. You see it often on chocolate, and can find many pictures of it online if you do a search for it.
I have been researching. I did stumble across a blog post referring to a image close to what I have posted but not exactly as fat blooms. I just didn't want to assume it or take any chances that I may have to pay for later. Thank you
