Mango Oil v Mango Butter

When used as a SF, is there is difference between mango oil and mango butter? I'm really just looking at adding it for the post shave skin feel in a shaving soap.

I would assume so. There is a difference between shea butter (solid) and shea oil (liquid), and coconut (solid) and fractionated coconut (liquid).

I know they are different when used in a recipe. The saponification values are different. I was really wondering if anyone used both and if they act different as a skin conditioner.

Soap isn't going to condition or moisturize your skin. It can be less stripping. If looking for conditioning or moisturizing make a leave on product. Generally oils are mixed with something else. I know shea oil is from some places.
