Hi everyone, how do I get a really white soap base (non milk) I've tried 2tsp of titanium per 2 lb batch still getting a really cream colour. I want a bright white. My usual base is approx
Palm30%,olive30%,coconut20%,sheabutter10%, water lye
Thankyou for your thoughts

Are you using virgin oo? If so, switch to plain OO, that will give you a much lighter soap. Same with the shea, use refined so it doesn't have so much color.

The amount if TD you used should have been plenty for a bright white.

Thankyou for the reply,Yes I used extra virgin oil and unrefined shea butter

Maybe up your percentage of coconut oil and increase superfat to counteract it.

My pure coconut oil bars have no additives and are the whitest bars I've ever produced

Ivory shea butter instead of the more yellow one, and high oleic safflower in place of olive.

I like 100% coconut oil soap lately, and unless the fragrance discolors, it's very white.
