Hi Everyone, I make hot process soaps in the beautiful Garden Route of South Africa :) I have been running my business for 6 years now but of late have been experiencing some neck and back issues due to heavy HP soap stirring.

My question: Are there any straight forward ways to make HP more liquid?
I've tried adding a dash of salt after cook and that seems to thin out the mashed potatoes quite a bit. Not sure about adding more water but perhaps that would be another way to soften up the lumps.

Any advice or tips are very welcome, I need to make this a bit easier on myself so I am not running to the physio ever week!!

I like to use 3% sodium lactate in mine, plus full water/28% lye concentration (i.e., 1 part lye to 2.57 parts water). This helps to make a more fluid pour for me.
