Making Glycerin Soap from Biodiesel By Products

Has anyone made glycerin soap from biodiesel byproduct?

I have not, but my bf's biodiesel guy has. he's given us a couple of his soaps. there's a thread somewhere floating around here discussing the process. maybe do a search and see if you can find it?
