According to WSP's website, their aloe vera oil is mineral oil, coconut oil, and aloe extract. Can I make my own by mixing aloe powder with a liquid oil?

Can I piggyback on your question and ask how to make aloe Vera liquid from an aloe plant, as well? Hopefully an aloe guru comes along with everything we ever wanted to know?

Yes, I love aloe in soap! Lovely bubbes. However, I'm actually asking about this for a scrub. I'm afraid to add the gel to it for of upping the chances of nasties.

I suspect the powder would be like any other powdered herb and you can infuse it into a oil. Since you are making a scrub, could you just add the powder to that? It might add a extra bit of exfoliation.
