Hello,
I would appreciate some feedback on how to dispose of raw soap that did not turn out correctly. I read in a few books that it is still caustic. Can anyone give me some ideas on what they do to get rid of it in the safest possible manner.

'thank you for your time and advice

Howdy! First I would test the PH of the failed soaps just to see HOW caustic they are. Get some Litmus paper and (while wearing heavy duty gloves) work up a lather and apply the paper, read how it is. Now that you know, probably the best way to dispose I can suggest, is to put the soaps into a gallon ziplock bag, wrap that bag up inside of some grocery bags, tie tightly and place into your garbage can. This way it will prevent any moisture from building and activating the chemical reactions. But this is what I would do, open to any suggestions!

raw soap - you mean still liquid? you might let it set up first...

bit either way, I double bag it and bury it in my trash.
