Lye burn and the aftermath... Final Update!

Sorry about the low light pic, but I'm so excited that I can start soaping again!!! I got the ok today!!!
I'm finally well on the way to mending, all fresh, new skin, no open burn anymore! I just have to take a couple extra safety steps, and take my time.
On a kind of sad note, I can't wear my engagement and wedding rings any more...my ring finger went from a size 5 1/2 to a 7 1/2 from scar tissue, and they can't be resized that much
Up side to that is, hubby is getting me new ones!!!

I just got back from getting another 50 pair of nitrile disposables. One thing the can never be stressed enough.

Sorry to hear about the accident and the scar tissue but glad DH is getting you a new set!
