Welcome, Donna. The first time I specifically remember being in SC (although it probably was not the first time), was when I drove all the way from California to Hilton Head after my Dad died. I'd made a decision that I 'needed' to drive from coast to coast for some reason right after my dad died. I fell in love with Hilton Head and thought I wanted to move there. I have since changed my mind about living in HH, but I do like to vacation there still. South Carolina sure has some lovely beaches!
