I made a lotion with natramulse as a emulsifier( which feels great), but 2 days later I noticed that its separated?? I dont have any idea why? Is it because the temp. of oil and water before mixing was not the same? This is my firs try of making o/w emulsions, and I am sure did something WRONG :x

A few things could have happened. Not blending long enough with a hand mixer...takes constant mixing for long periods of time. Too much water vs. Oil or too much water vs. Ewax. Did you add any EOs to it? if you added a large amount...if it was too much for the formula to "hold" that can make the impression of a lotion that has seperated. If you find the right percentages of each phase (water, Ewax, Oil and EO's or FO's)...it shouldn't seperate. Hope that helped!
