Lotion making

Just made my first experimental batch today, following a recipe. Does anyone know the exact water:beeswax:boraxil ratio? Thanks!

That is a incredibly difficult way to make lotion. I only know a couple of people who have had success and high shear is required. There are much easier ways to make lotion. Take a look at this threads:

I tried and tried and tried to get consistent results using beeswax and borax couldn't make it work. I had a couple batches that were somewhat successful but in my opinion some kind of emulsifying system is best. I dont know where you are located but brambleberry is having a sale on e-wax now 5 lbs for under $20. That would be a good cheap way to play around with something you will get consistent, reliable results with.
