Hello,
I would like to make an "ocean" scent using only essential oils. Any ideas?
Thanks!

ocean scents are generally florals, believe it or not.

how to formulate one I couldn't tell you, though.

Try Geranium, Ylang-Ylang, Cedar and Vetiver in equal proportions.
A spot of watermelon or cucumber fragrance or EO can then brighten the scent from crashing waves to a sunny day at the shore.

maybe make it a salt bar for a whiff of that salty smell? I don't have a ton of blending experience, sorry there! but let us know if something turns out, sounds like a fun project.

2 parts Ylang Ylang to 1 part Bergamot will give you a nice fresh water scent. Adding Sea Salt or Seaweed as an additive may round it out for you.
