I answered a posting on freegle that said it was about 15 half litre bottles of oils suitable for soap making. I got an email saying I could have them and this is what she gave me.

I can't wait to get stuck in with this lot. :D

Nice score - I think that lady deserves some nice homemade soap...
I gave her four pieces of previous stuff, but yes I will be giving her some of the new batches :lol:

there is ;
1 x litre of benzoin oil,
500ml grapeseed oil,
100ml avocado oil,
500ml rapeseed oil,
camellia oil (flowers infused in sunflower oil),
calendula oil, as above,
carrot oil, root infused as above,
100ml wheatgerm oil,
6 x 500ml borage oil,
3 x 500ml rose hip oil,
some potassium hydroxide,
some palm oil,
some cocoa butter,
some shea butter,
2 boxes citric acid,
2 boxes sodium bicarbonate,
the little bottles of essential oils are;
bergamot,
ginger,
black pepper,
clove bud,
benzoin,
patchouli,
tea tree and
chamomile.
PHEW!!! this is a huge lot of stuff, I dread to think the lady spent on it all.

Wow, that is expensive stuff!

Chamomile EO, OMG! And all of that borage!

Check the carrier oils before you use them - some have very short shelf lives.

Lucky you!

Borage oil? is than an infusion? flowers, leaves, or both?

I ask because borage is going crazy 'volunteering' all over my garden right now. I would like to harvest and dry a bunch. Is there is a nice way to use borage infused oil in either soaps or bath bombs?

I have been making calendula petal infused oils and this is very nice to use in all sorts of skin soothing ways.
