After being a multi-year lurker - time to introduce myself…
Hello everyone, my name is Erin. I live in Vancouver on the wonderful ‘wet’ coast. My soaping journey began began back in 2000 during a conversation with the sons about stuff we could to do together. A comment about soap making (a la Fight Club) triggered a NO WAY response - but the idea of making soap from normal oils/butters stuck.
After reading every book on the topic from the library 100 times, I was ready to jump in. Note: 3 years in the process…
Since then it’s been 100’s of batches in learning - and SMF has been a FANTASTIC resource when I’ve run into trouble. Thank you all for being so generous with advice!
And yes, I still make soap with the guys, when they have time.
