Hey folks, long-time lurker, seldom poster here.

I have a lip balm that is a bit too greasy for me although it has plenty of "stick".

Recipe:

1 part beeswax
1 part lard
1 part jojoba oil
1 part coconut oil

Anyone have any suggestions?

I would add enough liquid oil (OO, RBO, SAO, etc) to decrease the "stick".

I would add a tiny bit of lanolin to give it some gloss and "slick". You will then need some sort of flavor oil to help cover the lanolin scent. It is not a horrible scent, but definitely there.

So I was finally able to get around to messing with the recipe. I added just a tiny bit of lanolin, and quite a bit of olive oil. Honestly, I don't mind the smell of the lanolin, but I did make a batch with peppermint oil, just in case. It is still a little bit greasy, so I will have to further experiment, but it isn't far off. Thanks so much for the suggestion!
