This is kind of surprising, and interesting... Anyone notice a jump in sales? I know this is for the mass market stuff, but maybe it will spill over.

I think some of it may be a better general economy. During recessions, folks stop spending on expensive fashion and make small splurges on lipsticks and nail polishes. Those sales actually go up in what's called (I kid you not) the "lipstick index". When consumers have more buying confidence, they stop with the small splurges and spend on bigger ticket items.
