A little history

There is no documented history of when lemon tea was first made, but since lemon is a fruit native to the Asian region, it is a safe assumption that this variety of tea must have originated here. The use of lemon in one’s diet is linked to lower cancer risks, blood purification, antiviral and antibacterial effects.

The tangy taste of lemon is the perfect accompaniment to the sublime flavour of a subtle red or black tea. It is a deceptively simple recipe, and as deceptively simple recipes go, it is an easy one to ruin too.
