I had a lot of fun reading the laundry soap threads and thought I would give it a try. The whole process went very smoothly.

Here's the recipe I settled on:

80% Coconut Oil
20% Lard
-1% Superfat
35% Lye Concentration

Freshly poured:

The next day - unmolded, ready to cut:

Pulverized with equal parts washing soda in food processor:

It was a pretty simple process, and just required a bit of arm strength for grating. I tried it out in my laundry last night (about 2 tbsp for a large load) and it seemed to work great. I'll have to keep using it for a bit to see how much I like it!
