Hi everyone!
Our guinea pigs were adopted from Wee Companions/L.A. Guinea pig rescue (they are separate, but sister rescues that help each other out when one is overwhelmed). Canidae and Tractor Supply have joined to donate $25,000 grant to 8 top voted rescues.
Small pet rescue (hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chinchilla, rabbits) are the underdogs of rescue as most people prefer dogs/cats. 2020 has caused so many financial issues for many pet owners, but these small pets are more easily abandoned, tossed outside to "live in the wild". And in California - this just feeds the coyotes, sorry to say.
Please Google: rescue your rescue Tractor Supply 2020 to get to the voting page (the direct link doesn't seem to work well, better to Google it). Vote for Wee Companions (or choose another rescue that's been nominated - they're all deserving!)
