Okay, this is what I have come up with to replace Palm Oil in the whipped soap recipe I am wanting to make:

Lard 36%
Coconut Oil 40 %
Canola 20%
Castor Oil 4 %

Using Soapcalc. I came up with:

Hardness 48
Cleansing 27
Conditioning 45
Bubbly 31
Creamy 24

Iodine 50
INS l68 (Whatever this means?)

Would this make a very good combination for whipping?

Yea Jean I think it would whip up just fine. The lard makes a hard bar and has a good amount of stearic acid. Go for it, it looks fine!

Paul :)

I have wanted to make whipped soap, but still trying to get regular soap made with some consistancy. Please let us know how this turns out.
