Hi everyone,
I am about to apply for my first CPSR and I am stuck with 2 issues both related with labeling. Can you help me?

Here is my issues:
1- I am using zenicolor solo in one of my variations at 0.042% And I cannot know their percentages of the product so cannot calculate if it remains below 0.001 or not. How does this colorant translate into my label? Should I just write "Zenicolor" in the label?

2- I am using a franrance oil in one of my variations and this fragrance oil contains allergens where I can reach the percentages. As an example one of the allergens is Hexyl Cinnamal at 10.57% and I use the fragrance at 2.2%resulting my product contain this allergen at 0.232% Again how does this translate into the label? I am torn between these options:
a) Name of fragrance oil (allargens one by one with percentages)
b) Name of fragrance oil
c) Name of fragrance oil (allergens one by one)

Thanks for all the help

I'm sorry I can't answer your questions but i have just discovered a group on Facebook that could probably help: Cosmetic Safety Consultants and Friends
I have learned so much from them in just a few days and it appears to be friendly and helpful

I haven't applied yet so I have no assessor. Because I wanted to be prepared before the application. I am thinking to go with Soap Kitchen. So do you reckon they will help me after I apply?

Thanks I'll try to reach the facebook group

Tbh I would go to cosmetic safety assessors direct as there are less restrictions than using Soap Kitchen ingredients, the team at CSA are really good and your assessment should list how to label your ingredients.

Colours are listed in an ingredients list by there Colour Index Number (E.g. C.I. 19140). If you add a colourant you need to list it regardless of its concentration.

Fragrances are listed in an ingredients list as "Fragrance" (Or Parfum) and the allergens are listed as part of the ingredients list.

Start looking at commercial products to see how they list their ingredients and allergens.

Thanks a lot. I will consider all the advices above for references in the future. Actually I have written to soap kitchen and they gave me a detailed reply for my question.
Today I applied my first CPSR. Wish me luck for my voyage started today. :)
