Well, I did it. The pull thru. Couldn't resist. The soaps look so beautiful. Luckily it will turn out good. Had some batter left after pouring in the Pringles can so did an unplanned swirl in a pot also. In a tiny Pringles can 😁.
Colorants used were clay, spirulina and AC.
Scented with eucalyptus and rosewood.

Do you insulate these cans also?

Here it is. What do you think? Maybe the batter was supposed to be just a bit thicker while pouring the first layers, it did do well from the half to the top of the can, it thickened while I was pouring. For a first timer it's alright eh? Bit dull colors, but can work on that also I guess.
So basically I find the design techniques are quite easy, just perfecting your batter takes time.

Newbie here. I hope to do one of these one day. I have watched some videos on the pull through method and was wondering how you pulled the filter through? If mine ever end up looking as great as yours I will be a very happy woman!! They look fabulous.

I'm a newbie also. My 4th soap.
I used 4 strings, 1 on each side, and pulled up.

@TashaBird has many posts, tips, and photos on the pull through technique. If you haven't see her work, brace yourselves.

Awww. Thanks Zing! I’ve been deep in bath bomb land, and back at my day job. My soap making hasn’t been as plentiful. I did do a round recently that are just finished curing. Man the time is flying by!! I love the instant gratification of making bath bombs, and how quickly customers use them up, also the dish washing is sure a breeze! But, nothing compares to the magic of saponification!!
