I have an idea for a soap pattern that I think is going to require me to create it in pieces. I will want to create some very defined shapes, and then connect them to create the final bar. A reverse embed--2 giant pieces, then joined by a last pour. Basically a stripe down the middle, but fancier.

I don't want this to fall apart in use. Will it have any integrity if it's made this way? Is there a good way to essentially glue soap together (with only soap)? I'm scared of using a pencil line for this same reason.

thanks for any insights!

Probably will be ok. I made a loaf of soap and was intending to do 3 sections but I only got 2 poured and then an emergency popped up so I just had to leave it and I didn't get to pour the third layer until a week later. The integrity of the bar is just fine and the first 2 layers stuck just fine to the last layer I poured.
