ISO usage rate, Gemlite Oak Moss

Peeps, I received a destashed Gemlite Oak Moss, Oak Moss EO . I'm not finding anything on the web or this Forum for usage rates in cold process soap. Any tips? Thank you.

I agree with @dibbles in that it’s probably absolute, not a true EO.

Safe usage rates are pretty low, but even a titch adds a base note that works well with many scents. Some users here on SMF also swear that it neutralizes the animal fat smell of lard and tallow.

I think it is @Zany_in_CO that uses it for animal fat odor. Maybe try searching for Oakmoss and her name in the ’by member’ box to find her dilution method and usage.

The Oakmoss from Gemlite is heavily diluted. I would suggest you reach out to them to ask with what and at what concentration as that will inform the percentage you can use in soap.
