ISO a particular 'bag'

some years ago, I bought some little wax paper type bags ...they came in two sizes ...can't really say but maybe like a 2 x 4 & 4 x 6 ... they were simple flat bags ...no gussets or anything - the larger bag held one full size soap bar nicely - the smaller was good for samples ...can't find them anywhere now ...does anyone have a clue?! Thanks in advance!

i think you might be looking for "glassine" bags. they are used for putting cookies or baked goods in sometimes.

oh yes!! now that you said that name ...that's it! I checked out the link - thankyou!!! I didn't rememeber the 'glassine' part ...that's why I couldn't find them online then ...I was searching for wax paper bags (& of course just got the commercial sandwich bags) Thanks so much - I'm 'glad' I asked!
