Is this a fragrance issue?

I've never had this happen before. The batter took a long time to trace, I'm not sure it ever really did. The texture ended up being grainy looking and this liquid was oozing out. I suspect the fragrance. I used Aztec Clove and Crafter's Choice Patchouli.

How old is your lye? It looks like the mixture never truly emulsified.

The first post in the other thread is an answer to the OP's question (posted by dibbles), so I'm not sure this is the OP's doing (it looks like one of those split threads).
