I need to make some embeds for a soap I want to do. I want to make round gumballs, but I don't have any round, 3D molds to use. I know you can shave down and roll CP soap to whatever shape you want. Can you do the same thing with MP soap?

I don't think that would work - my M&P doesn't give me workable time. You could try using a melon baller on it. I know that works for CP.

I actually just tried this out after making embeds for a cupcake soap. By the time the M&P got cool enough for me to roll, it was too hard to shape into anything resembling a nice ball... maybe if I was going for a primitive soap it would do... YMMV though

I agree with snappy. By the time you allow it to set up enough to handle, it's too stiff to form a nice clean ball shape.

You can add cornstarch to mp soap to make it into a play dough soap. After you are happy with it, you can "harden" it with a layer of clear mp soap (just dip the balls in melted clear soap)
