Yes, and as @Kari Howie will tell you, one of these days you will also find yourself trying to sniff the soap pictures you have stored on your cell phone

People need to be soapers to understand it.

Whenever I have a rough day at work, I go visit my soap. It’s science, but it’s also magic.

Welcome to the sniffers' club! I keep staring at my first ever batch of Castile soap with lavender EO. It smells SO good!

I’m happy to see this post! I thought I was just being obsessive. Whenever I get home from work I smell and touch my bars of soap curing! Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone...

I do it for “serious scientific testing quality control and marketing purposes!”

:) It was normal for me to do that when I was new, and even a few years into it, but now I dont' really stare/sniff them other than to see if the color has morphed or the scent faded after a cure.
I do however, still get UBER excited when unmolding and cutting to see what I have going on on the inside. :)
