Because Netgear is stupid. But, installing it was painless (no need to call the cable company for ANYTHING) and now my replaced router can act as a range extender.

Don't you love easy, painless techy installs?

Yay for easy instalations! Not too fond of Netgear though, I had a horrible experience with their customer service department one time.

I can help you with that; a router is an internet thingy.

I can give you more info: if your internet goes down, you unplug your router thingy, and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in. The other info went WOOSH over my head, also.
