After a year and a half of being mostly confined to a wheelchair, I finally found a surgeon in another town who agreed with me that I needed a hip replacement. My local orthopod had blown me off. I am now able to walk with a cane and can stand unassisted so I figure that’s good enough to start making soap again. Hallelujah! It’s good to be back!

Making my first batch in over 1-1/2 years tomorrow.

Welcome back Kari, I was wondering where you have been. I am very glad you found someone to help you and it sounds like you are doing well as can be expected. Sometimes it takes a long time if ever to fully get rid of the cane, but to walk again, what a joy. :nodding:
