Hi, I have a batch of reheated CP ewes milk soap that I would like to use up as liquid soap. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to keep it emulsified if possible once I add water to liquefy it.
Hi, can you clarify what you mean by “reheated” soap. Do you mean rebatched?
Unfortunately, soaps made with NaOH will rarely stay dissolved or emulsified in water for very long. After awhile, they will clump up and become “snotty.” It is the nature of that type of soap, and the reason the liquid soaps are made with KOH and not NaOH.
