Each cavity is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/4,
which means the volume on each cavity is 9.45
Now multiply that by 12 (numb of cavities) and that is 113.44
Now multiply that by .40 and that is 45.375 oz of oil for that mold

HTH :)

ETA the formula is
L x W x D = volume
Volume x .40 = amount of oils in ounces needed for that mold

In a multi cavity mold, figure out volume for one cavity then multiply by number of cavities, then multiply by .40 to determine total oils weight needed.
