How much EO in massage bar?

Hi, I'm experimenting with making massage bars and solid hand cream bars and I'm wondering how much EO I can put in them.
I've been trying different recipes and in a roughly 100g bar the recipes say to add 10 drops EO, but I'm not getting much scent off them. Is 10 drops overly cautious, or can I up it? What would I up it too?
I'm aware there's safety limits, I live in the UK, so I stick to the limits with soap making, but add EO to kaolin clay to hold it a bit, but I can't put clay in a massage bar.

You will need to find out what amount can be safely used in your product. It will depend on what EO you are using. Find Free Essential Oil Blends - Modern Soapmaking
In my lotion bars I generally use 1-2% FO. I don't use a lot of EO's.

As its a leave on product the max usage in the UK is 1% but much less for some ingredients.

I would recommend using grams rather than drops especially if you want to move up to making larger batches. If you have access to the IFRA certificate for your essential oil/fragrance you will be able to find out the maximum that can be safe used for leave on products.
