I read that butters & oils can be stored in the freezer to prolong shelf live. But I'm concerned about just putting them in the freezer because when I do that to my food I usually get little ice crystals in the container (from condensation). Water in oil/butter is highly undesirable because it introduces contamination. So for those of you who freeze your oil & butters how do you do it? TIA!

i have never frozen them, i have only put them in the refrigerator. have you tried to google the info about freezing, or visiting oil informational sites?
