I have a little tub of shaealoe butter. I don't know what the ratio is. Can I use this in soap? If so, how did I figure it into soapcalc?
thanks

You could ask the vendor for the SAP number or ratios of ingredients.

It is so wonderful, save it for a leave on product like body butter or lotion. Since you have a "little" tub, save it for your treat. :D :D

It is nice stuff. :) I make my own shealoe. I slowly, under low heat, use 60& shea butter to 40% aloe vera gell. That is the rate of the shealoe you get from suppliers. I have not tried it in soap.

Cool! Another great idea I'll have to try. I have both shea and organic aloe on hand. Sounds like a great combination. I think the aloe would make the shea butter seem much less greasy when using on your skin as well.
